ADVANCED AUTOSET ALGORITHM ADJUSTS TO YOUR SLEEP NEEDS
ResMed's AutoSet algorithm is proven to provide effective therapy, at the lowest pressure levels, on a breath by breath basis throughout the night. The AutoSet algorithm monitors your breathing and, when it detects flow limitations, it gently increases pressure until the event has cleared. After an event AutoSet decreases pressure again to improve overall sleep comfort. In addition, AirSense 11 AutoSet differentiates between obstructive and central apneas so you'll always be sure you're getting the appropriate therapy for your changing needs.

CLIMATE CONTROL WITH CLIMATELINEAIR TUBING
When you use ClimateLineAir Tubing with the AirSense 11, the system's advanced Climate Control features are activated. Climate Control is an intelligent system that adapts to changes in room temperature, pressure flow, and mask and mouth leak, to provide constant, comfortable temperatures and humidity levels during sleep therapy. With Climate Control and ClimateLineAir Tubing your machine will maintain a set temperature and relative humidity at the mask while you sleep while minimizing condensation and rainout.

CONSUMES LESS POWER THAN SIMILAR CPAPS
Most traditional CPAP's feature a 90-80 watt power supply. The AirSense 11 runs on a 65 watt power supply unit, therefore it consumes less power which creates energy savings in the long run.

MYAIR PERSONALIZED THERAPY SUPPORT
Like your own sleep coach, ResMed's new optional online program, myAir, provides support during every stage of treatment. By giving you access to your therapy data, it lets you continually track your progress and see how well you’re doing. Emails or text messages can also provide helpful education and encouragement to support you along the way. As you mark your successes and celebrate your milestones with awards and badges, you'll stay motivated to keep going. Patients can view their sleep data from the previous night using the myAir dashboard. Intuitive icons and charts make the dashboard simple to understand and follow.

All I can say is 'Wow' !

I like writing longer and detailed reviews on things, rather than the "It works great......" type reviews, so please bear with me. I am a long time CPAP user, starting out 20 years ago with a Fisher & Paykel CPAP machine that delivered at constant pressure. About 8 years ago, I was given a Dream Station that seemed to be OK with variable pressure. I did not use the heated tubing or humidifier, as that makes me feel I am choking in the jungle. I cleaned the tubing weekly and didn't use any ozone based cleaning systems. Dream Stations were recalled due to insulation problems for those who used heat, humidity, and ozone cleaning. The replacement unit I was given sounded like a leaking tire at night and I could hear the hissing. Problem is I have moderate-to-severe hearing loss and could hear the Dream Station hissing without hearing aids in. Due to Medicare rules, I was to suffer with the Dream Station another year before being eligible for replacement and playing the 13 month rental game with Medicare. My decision was to buy a new CPAP machine outright and leave Medicare in my dust. My sleep specialist doctor recommended ResMed Air Sense 11, so I hunted around for what I thought was the best overall sleep DME internet site I could find, and it turned out to be at "MajorCPAP.com". My CPAP machine arrived within 4 days and I found a clinician's manual online to do all my own settings. I've been using this machine 12 days now and to say it is a breath of fresh air is an understatement. It is quieter than quiet at night. My wife remarked she couldn't hear a thing, and even the air exiting my mask isn't as loud as it used to be due to the ResMed having the ability to set the exiting pressure from the mask. I give this machine an "11" on a scale of "10". Now the test will be how long the machine will last and perform over time. It's smaller and a bit lighter than the Dream Station, and the case looks a bit more like a laptop case. The sleep specialist gave me a prescription for "MajorCPAP.com", so we'll also see how well they take care of me. The preferred provider my sleep specialist refers to never bothered to call me or see what I needed in the 3 years since I was referred. I feel like I am in better hands now with "MajorCPAP.com".
