Description
Respironics Amara™ Gel Full Face CPAP Mask and Headgear is updated with the new soft, blue, Gel Cushion. The outer gel flap conforms to the user's face, making the Respironics blue gel technology the number one choice in Gel Masks.
With the all new Amara Full Face mask you have choices. You can now choose between the original Amara silicone style of full face cushion or the all new Amara gel cushion. The choice is yours! No one knows what you need more than yourself. Respironics has sought to give you those options that can make a difference.
The all new updated Amara is available with a soft, blue, gel cushion that provides exceptional seal and comfort with a soft outer shell that conforms to the face, while a thicker inner wall supports the mask and adds stability.
The Amara Full Face CPAP Mask with Headgear can also be worn with the traditional Silicone Cushion.
The silicone cushion offers a more traditional seal. As the air flows to the mask the thin outer silicone flap of the cushion seals against the face while the inner wall supports and stabilizes the mask position.

Gel Cushion
The Respironics’ gel cushion technology ranks high among other gel masks on the market. The technology within the gel cushions has evolved over the years and offers the best possible comfort during therapy.
The soft, Blue Gel Cushion provides exceptional seal and comfort with a soft outer shell that conforms to the face while a thicker inner wall supports the mask and adds stability.
The gel cushion features the comfort and contoured fit for which gel is known. The outer gel flap conforms to the user's face while the thicker inner wall molds to the face to support and stabilize the seal.
Frame & Cushions
The Reduced Size frame for the Amara fits all size silicone and gel cushions. Both the Reduced Size and Regular frame from the original Amara fits all sizes of silicone and gel cushions.
The Amara Full Face mask has 4 different cushion sizes. Petite, small, medium and large. However there is no need for a different size frame.
Most full face masks force you to buy a complete different frame if you want to try a new size. With the Amara all you need to do is buy a new cushion and it will fit the same frame you already have. This will save you money as well.
You may only need to replace the cushion every six months instead of the whole mask. The durable lightweight frame is built to last.
Quiet Therapy
Phillips Respironics has also listened to the partners of CPAP users. The mask is quieter than any other Phillips Respironics full face mask because of it's micro exhalation ports designed to disperse air in the quietest way possible. The air is diffused at an angle that produces the least amount of sound.
Easy Release Headgear Clips
The headgear clips are a breeze to release from the mask. With the Amara you don't have to spend time in front of the mirror trying to take your headgear off the mask. The easy release clips allow you to quickly take the mask off when you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
